Boating and Golf on Lake Martin

Lake Martin has over 750 miles of shoreline and is approximately 44,000 acres of clear, clean water. Much of the shoreline is undeveloped so if you don't know your way around by water make sure you have a good lake map. There are only a few "rules" to follow (in addition to the boating laws):

We're friendly — so be sure to wave at other boaters — they will wave back!
Take a trash bag with you — keep our lake clean.
If you see another boater experiencing problems, stop and offer to help. You'll be paid back the very first time you have trouble.

Marine police patrol the lake and they're very helpful. Take your cell phone with you and if you have an emergency, call 911.
